We are looking for a skilled Facility and Maintenance Officer for our Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Libin, Belgium.
In this role, you will oversee the effective operation, maintenance, and safety of our buildings, each with unique requirements.
Tasks and Activities
Facility Maintenance & Management
Assist with the maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical units, and security systems.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure buildings comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate repairs, renovations, and general maintenance activities.
Electrical Work & Technical Support
Help troubleshoot issues and malfunctions and assist in resolving them.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
Support IT and facility teams in maintaining stability.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Liaise with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and repair work.
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
IT Environment Support
Work closely with IT teams to ensure stability for data centers, server rooms, and other critical IT infrastructure.
Assist in managing power distribution, cooling systems, and backup solutions for IT-heavy environment.
Skills and Experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
At least 3 years proven experience inin building maintenance and facility management.
Experience in front office and coordination.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of building automation systems and energy efficiency practices.
Effective communication skills across all levels, engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken. Dutch is an asset.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
Experience managing buildings with IT system.
Electrical work experience.
