Our skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) enable us to provide solutions that analyse data, extract information and make decisions faster and more effectively.

Faster, smarter, trustworthy

Our skills in AI enable us to provide solutions that analyse data, extract information and make decisions faster and more effectively.

Cybersecurity specialists have to deal with huge amounts of incoming data being generated by every system that interacts with their own organisation’s infrastructure. AI tools can help analyse this data, assist in conducting risk management and generate recommendations for action during a cyberattack.

Our experts are applying AI for analysis and correlation to support the processing of cyber threat intelligence for critical infrastructures, resulting in innovative security solutions. Speed is of the essence in cybersecurity, and AI’s ability to automate certain tasks makes it an ideal technology for accelerating information gathering and cutting down response times.

Machine learning can be used in cybersecurity for:

  • Detection of intrusion, malware, anomalies and phishing
  • Assessment of vulnerabilities
  • Spam filtering
  • Classification of malware
  • Traffic analysis
  • Data compression
  • Feature extraction.

Trustworthy and regulated AI are fundamental to our approach. Our experts can advise on all the potential uses of AI and ML in cybersecurity, including the avoidance of risk, biased results and/or lack of trust. We can also help to ensure your organisation stays cyber secure while AI and ML tools are being implemented.

European regulations

Throughout every project, our experts are cognisant of the need to take into account the European regulatory landscape around AI and cybersecurity, which is evolving significantly. This includes the new EU AI Act, which came into force in August 2024.

In some cases, AI and ML may even be able to assess if a specific software or hardware design fulfils the requirements of new European Acts and Directives, playing a role in dynamic risk assessment, following which we can advise how to make the development compliant.

Generative AI is increasingly a feature of cyber digital twins, enabling them to automatically generate scenarios, attacks and solutions. Our teams have been applying generative AI in a range of projects for critical infrastructures, making us well versed in its potential uses for cybersecurity.

We use AI and ML techniques in the scenario creation process for our cybersecurity training, based on our proprietary emulation technology CITEF® (Cyber Integration, Test and Evaluation Field).
